Webinar Faculty:

Jennifer Brown is the Assistant Director of Compliance Services with the New York State Comptroller's Office. She has been with the New York State Comptroller's Office of Unclaimed Funds since November 2002. Over the past 16 years, she helped initiate and develop the Voluntary Compliance Program for New York State and has contacted thousands of companies and professional organizations throughout the United States. She works to educate companies about the Unclaimed Property Law and to help them come into compliance. She has also worked at Outreach events throughout the State to help reunite New York residents with their money. Jenniferís professional experience includes accounting jobs in the private sector and leadership positions for a local non-profit organization. Jennifer is a member of the NAUPA Education Committee.

Kathy Janes, CPA, is the Director of Unclaimed Property for the Oklahoma Treasury. She has been an employee of the Treasurerís office since 1992. In past state positions, she has served as accountant and accounting manager. Prior to employment with the Oklahoma State Treasurerís Office, Kathy worked in public accounting in the areas of tax and audit. Kathy is a member of the NAUPA Executive Committee and chairs the NAUPA Education Committee. She is a recipient of the NAUPA Presidential Distinguished Service Award.

Kathleen Lobell is the Director of the Unclaimed Property Division for the Louisiana Treasury. She has been working in various positions of the unclaimed property program for over 30 years. Kathleen is a member of the NAUPA Executive Committee and is currently serving as the NAUPA Secretary-Treasurer and is past NAUPA Southern Regional Vice President.

Ted Rozalski is the Section Chief of the Reporting section for the Unclaimed Property Division with the California State Controllerís Office. Ted has worked for the Unclaimed Property Division for eight years in roles as the manager of the Safe Deposit Unit and Outreach and Compliance Unit. Ted is intimately familiar with Californiaís reporting cycles, common holder questions, and has successfully assisted many holders and their agents through the process of reporting and remitting unclaimed property to the California State Controller. Ted is a member of the NAUPA Education Committee.
